What is Reiki?
Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle therapy for stress reduction and relaxation. It promotes feelings of well-being and harmonizes the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels of one’s being by calming the central, autonomic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

What to Expect During your Session
Before your session begins, you will be asked to remove your shoes and silence your cellphone, placing it in a safe place. This permits for the proper flow of energy to move accurately in and around your body. It also helps to foster a space where the focus is on you and your care. Soothing music is played to relax and encourage a state of calm.
Other than the removal of your shoes, you will remain fully clothes during your session. An explanation of the session procedure, and addressing any questions or concerns will take place just prior to the start of your session. To begin, you are lead through a short meditation that will help you physically relax. Reiki is performed, while you rest comfortably as both the front and back of the body is treated.
During your session, you may experience deep relaxation, warmth, tingling or coolness. Some individuals have "mystical" experiences whilst others may simply feel calm and relaxed. For some, emotions or feelings may arise during your session as you release both physical and emotional blockages in the body. These releases can be physical through the body (for example, stomach rumbling, gas, or burping, feeling tingly or energy moving in the body), or emotional (crying or laughing), or spiritual (feeling outside of your body, vivid visualizations, astral traveling). Please know that these kinds of releases are normal and expected, though do not always happen. Your session will be most beneficial if you release any judgement or self-consciousness. Each session is unique, but generally you will feel refreshed, restored and relaxed after treatment.
At the end of the treatment you will be grounded fully in your energy and body while your awareness is gently brought back to the room. To wrap up your session, I will share any information intuitively received during the session.
What to Expect After your Session
Once the energy work is completed, your energy field will continue to en-train to the healing frequencies for some time thereafter. Increase your water intake, eat healthy and get adequate sleep for the next few days to ground your body and wash away the toxins that the energy work released.
Reoccurring sessions are recommended to maintain proper energetic alignment and for those suffering in a chronic state.
